Here’s what our guests want to tell you about their experiences during their stay at Osprey Point Retreat & Conference Center:
First of all, THANK YOU for a terrific week-end at Osprey Point. The lodging, setting, and – most important – the personal and suportive attention paid by you and your team made for an extremely productive weekend for our Board of Trustees. I was particularly impressed by how you and the team created a casual, trusting atmosphere that allowed us to ‘take over’ the place and take care of our business. It made Osprey Point ‘ours’ for the week-end in a way that made us at home instead of just visitors.

Osprey Point made for the best meeting retreat space the University of Maryland Extension has ever used. From the always attentive staff to the superb food and well-appointed, comfortable rooms, Osprey Point wowed even the most critical people in our group. The setting is nothing short of beautiful, and to add fantastic staff, food and accommodations to a wonderful setting makes it the perfect place to host your retreat.

After many years of planning and organizing retreats all over the state, I think I can safely say that we’ve [finally] found the perfect venue! From the gorgeous, secluded waterfront property, to the spacious comfortable rooms, to the spectacular meals, to the over-the-top service, Osprey Point is now our group’s favorite destination! They’re already talking about coming back next year.
Thanks also for being so accommodating with our meeting needs. You’ve got it all (and I think we’ve used it all!)—internet, digital projection, white boards, large and small meeting spaces, snacks and refreshments—you made whatever we needed happen.
As a meeting planner, I can’t imagine how Osprey Point could have done any more for us! You and your entire staff are to be commended.
See you next year!

Last September, we held our Senior Executive Exchange at Osprey Point Retreat and Conference Center. It was a big hit! Since the facility was ours exclusively, we got to spread out and enjoy all the place had to offer…the sunroom, the lounge, the meeting room and the screened-in porch. Many of us enjoyed the grounds, especially the kayaking and canoeing. The food was phenomenal. Osprey Point’s chef, Dawn, uses local, exceptionally fresh foods prepared at a caliber I don’t often see even at “high-class” restaurants in D.C. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff could not have been more helpful. The place is an enclave of tranquility, and we socialized more than usual. We’ll definitely return!

This is an astounding, beautiful, fabulously maintained place. Even for us “one-nighters,” it is truly a retreat. I will surely be back!

Our conference convenes several times each year to discuss a range of topics of compelling concern. Our goal is to offer senior intelligence analysts a refuge from their normally hectic pace to reflect upon the difficult, ambiguous nature of their work in an atmosphere which encourages the exchange of views. Without reservation, I recommend Osprey Point to organizations both public and private, seeking off-site meeting venues.
Osprey Point is located close enough to the Washington metro area to be accessible and convenient, yet secluded enough to provide a forum for quiet, contemplative learning. The staff at Osprey Point is outstanding, and the food is excellent. The attendees’ evaluations have uniformly reflected their appreciation for the extraordinary service that Osprey Point has provided.
